Does anyone know any really simple crochet patterns of coasters?

However, if you know of another fun crochet activity that isn’t a coaster, I would gladly take those too đŸ™‚ As long as they are beginner friendly.
I have just begun crocheting and I get bored really easy with just making the beginning squares, and figured coasters would be a good start. I’ve looked around, and all the different ones I found are beyond my skill, or the pattern looks simple, but the directions are written for those of a higher skill than I.

  1. Here are a couple of sites you may want to bookmark:
    Both these site have lots of helps and tutorials and patterns. One thing both have is a translation page. You can translate all the abbreviations and pattern-speak with those pages. That way, you can read patterns that were written for anyone.

    How about a cellphone case? Can you figure out how to make one? Work at it a little, and I think you’ll get it.

  2. Hi:

    All a coaster is a circlular dish cloth so any crochet pattern for a dish cloth will work

    How about a dish cloth, a soap sasket, bag, placemat, book maker, a simple cross, a crochet case for your crochet hooks;

    Keep working at it . I’m learning it my self and I got a few pattern and lot of books on it with patterns
    I’m on a learning curve myself. So focus on the task and remember the old saying slow and steady wins the race. or as duengin master put it “It not the speed at which the lesson or something is learn or done but that it’s learn or done at all.” – meaning keep working on it until it done

    But for a charming lady like yourself here a project for you:

    I hope you like it?
