I would suggest using Google search to find a baby frock pattern. There are a lot of free patterns offered by some very talented designers.

this video is so helpful to me. my mother wanted me to make her some edging on one of her velvet red lampshades. so i decided to make her a star stitch edging. she loved it so much, that she payed me $5.00 for doing it! maybe i should do this more often! 🙂 (:
