These ergonomic crochet hooks are great. Even as a relatively young crocheter without the problems of arthritis or carpal-tunnel, my hands hurt from time to time if I’ve been crocheting a lot. These hooks keep your fingers in a more neutral position which is healthier for your hands. After using one for a few minutes, you’ll realize that you’re not gripping the hook too tightly and that your hand is relaxed. I think this would be great for crocheters who tend to work too tightly.
My only wish is that Clover made hooks in sizes larger than J!

These hooks have allowed to crochet after having to stop for over four years because of arthritis!! They’re one of the best things that ever happened to me. You might have to modify your grip somewhat as I did but it’s worth it. As another review said, they could stand to be a bit thicker for those with seriously advanced arthritis. I’m not quite that far yet but these hooks help me enjoy crochet again until that time. Well worth the price!

I’ve been crocheting for over 50 years and splurged to buy this crochet hook. What a difference it was worth the money. It works well for different styles of holding the crochet hook and so much easier on my fingers and hand. It was also less expensive on Amazon. I originally bought the set of assorted sizes in a tapestry folding holder. I was careless one day and put the G hook in my bag and it dropped out, hence this purchase of a single hook. I now always keep my crochet hooks in the storage holder. (I did find my other one months later under my recliner).

The ‘handle’ on this hook wasn’t quite big enough for me. I guess my arthritis is just too bad. I really hoped!

I ordered this for my wife as a gift and instead I was sent a single crochet needle, I wrote to the seller and they said they were looking into it and would get back. The charges got reversed on my credit card but have not got any communication from the seller about this. This was a gift and it was really embrassing. I would expect that they would atleast send me the gift set but still waiting for it.
