Thanks heaps! I also love the way you repeated it a few times- often videos show it once and I have to watch the darn thing 20 times to figure it out! Thanks again 🙂

Thank you very much for making this video. I found a pattern that I just adore, but for some odd reason they left off the instructions for knotting. I had to watch your video muted, but it is extremely helpful even without sound!
    You rawk <3 Many thanks!

Thank-you! This was so helpful. The fact that you made many knots to demonstrate helped cement the idea for me.

Thank you for posting this. I was going crazy with my how-to book, trying to figure out this stitch. Watching someone actually do it is more instructional than a book which may not be complete in the steps.

You can do it on tunisian. I prefer single crochet the best since it has the tightest stitches together.

Thank you for replying nack to me so quickly. I just have one more question. You said a single crochet would be the best for cross stitch and embroidery. In some of your vidoes, you do a standard tunisian crochet stitch that you say is good for cross stitching. Which is better for cross stitching, single crochet or the standard tunisian crochet? Thanks again for all your help and the videos.

Thank you. 1)A single crochet would be the best for cross stitch and embroidery although it can be done on double crochet and half double crochet. It works best on crochet stitches that are closer together. 2)I don’t knit. 3) I just use tapestry needles. I think mine were size 10.

Hi Teresa. I love all your videos. I have 3 questions. First, what kind of Crochet stitches can you use cross stitching and embroidery on? Second, do you knit and if so, can you do this on knitting as well? Third, what types and size needles do you use to do all this? Thanks for all your help.

I have written in detail on my crochet blog about the tapestry needle and the sizes I use in the video tutorials.
